Phelan Ebenhack is a full-time freelance photographer based in Orlando, Florida. He has worked for the News & Observer in Raleigh, NC, the St. Petersburg Times and the Orlando Sentinel. 

While attending Texas A&M University, and receiving a B.S. and M.B.A., Ebenhack was named the National Press Photographers Association's Region 8 College Photographer of the Year.  

He also won first place for his sports portfolio, second place in sports feature and honorable mention for documentary photo story in the prestigious College Photographer of the Year Competition, sponsored by the University of Missouri. 

During his professional career, Ebenhack has won numerous awards from the National Press Photographers Association, Florida Society of Newspaper Editors and the National Headliners Awards. In 2001, he was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the Little League World Series. 

In addition to winning awards, Ebenhack has honed his professional skills while attending the Missouri Photo Workshop and Eddie Adams Workshop. 

After working as a staff photographer at the Orlando Sentinel for 11 years, Ebenhack has been photographing assignments for editorial, corporate and advertising clients and publications around the world. He is available for new clients and weddings as well. 

Phelan Ebenhack is married to wife, Elena, and they have a cockapoo, named Cookie. The Ebenhacks recently announced the addtion of Ksenia Belle Ebenhack, born on March 18, 2009.
